Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany ranks fourth in the 2016 Access to Medicine (ATM) Index, one of the three most credible sustainability ratings worldwide, advancing two more ranks since the 2014 Index. Every two years, the Access to Medicine Foundation, through its Index, benchmarks the top pharmaceutical companies with respect to their efforts to advance global access to medicines.
