Dirk Wienke

As a postdoc at a cancer charity funded research institute, I had many conversations with cancer patients or their relatives, which motivated me to move into drug discovery, working on the development of more effective therapies.

For me it is therefore a real privilege that at EMD Serono I have the opportunity to lead a team of highly dedicated scientists focusing on the identification of resistance mechanisms against existing treatments and the development of novel antibody-drug conjugates.
