Jessica Guggenbuehl

I am from Green Bay.  Through the generosity of MilliporeSigma, I am continuing my education – working on completing a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin.  I am taking night classes, but my role is flexible, so I can take a day class if needed. 

I have been with the company for 10 years, starting as a production operator making chemicals, during the night shifts. After a few years, I moved to the day shift and received a promotion to sr. production operator. After six years in production, I relocated from Sheboygan to Milwaukee. I joined the quality assurance team, focusing on customer complaints and audits.

In June 2020, I transitioned to the Sheboygan quality assurance team. I now run the TrackWise change control program, a local program for managing production and product changes. My primary role is to oversee the change management team and review all incoming changes before a rigorous review process and implementation.

What is a day in your life at MilliporeSigma like?
My day always changes. I usually review emails when I get in, and then it depends. I can have one or two meetings a day or a whole day of them to discuss changes. I have 30-50 changes on my plate on any giving day.
