Your Role

As a Director/Project Lead you will be responsible for the operational and strategic leadership of one or more late-stage global clinical project teams. You will exercise control over sizeable resources (annual budgets of 20-100+ million) and execute the overall strategy for the specific project.  You will lead the respective cross-functional project teams through the execution of the project strategy and interact closely with the respective program lead in program strategy definition, stakeholder management, and overall program leadership topics.  You will be accountable for end results of the team and the key contact on a project level both for internal partners as well as, in the case of co-development projects, for the respective counterparts in the other company.  You will be a member of the core team for the Global Clinical Program Team, accountable for individual project delivery within the program strategy. 


Who You Are

  • BS degree 10+ years experience, MS degree 5 years experience or PhD 3 years experience
  • Professional Project Management certification desirable.
  • Fluency in English (German an advantage)
  • Experience in pharmaceutical R&D with direct experience of leadership in a project management related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional team leadership
  • Extensive cross-functional knowledge of the Drug Development Processes and project management
