Human Resources Business Partner, Madison WI
As an HR Business Partner for our contract manufacturing sites in Madison and Verona, WI you will be part of the local Management Team and partner with your leaders and their teams.
Key focus is to enable the growth of this business within Life Science. You’ll translate business requirements into HR processes and systems that deliver business results. You’ll deliver key HR processes like compensation review, talent management, succession planning, performance management, workforce planning as well as organizational development, anticipating local recruitment needs and employee relations issues.
You will proactively manage HR internal stakeholders and are part of a global HR Business Partner team. To accomplish the above you’ll partner with the HR Centers of Excellence and Services teams, by transferring business requirements and co-create customized solutions where required. Beyond this you may be involved in HR projects beyond your customer scope and champion specific HR processes/topics within the Global HR team.

Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, science or HR related fields, e.g., Organizational Development or equivalent discipline.
5+ years HR Business Partner/Generalist experience including experience working in a global matrix organization.
HR experience in Life Science preferred, HR background in a science driven Service Business supports your application
Good understanding of Wisconsin Labor laws
Strong business acumen, and curiosity to dive into the business to become a true partner
Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
Solid Project Management experience
Resourceful team player with can-do attitude, high (learning) agility, global mind set and intercultural awareness, to cooperate and navigate in virtual settings
Strong evidence of both a strategic and "hands on" leadership orientation
Ability to grow into roles with increasing scope of responsibility
