Your role: Responsible for managing Corporate Fertility Accounts, KOL engagement, MSOs, and other key intermediary fertility organizations (Integramed, Progeny, ARC, Donor, Surrogate, Marketing, Finance, etc.). Responsibilities also include assisting the Director of Strategic Alliances in the management of the EMD Serono retail pharmacy network.

Drive fertility portfolio profitability through current strategic partnerships/contracts and the development of new opportunities with the key partners. Development and maintenance of business relationships with selected key corporate accounts ensuring EMD Serono corporate leadership and devising strategies to increase Gonal-f demand. Collaborate with Marketing to create programs with other key Fertility intermediaries that drive Gonal-f demand. Collaborate with Area Business Directors to ensure proper utilization of EMD Serono programs.

Who you are:

  • BA/BS required, with MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 5-7 years marketing, specialty pharmacy, or related experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry with a specific focus on a specialty market
  • Past KOL management/interaction experience
  • Experience working with large physician groups
  • 3-5 years of professional marketing experience
  • Experience creating and negotiating contracts
  • Superior project management experience
  • Experience managing specialty pharmacies and strong understanding of fulfillment process
  • Previous fertility experience
  • Advanced software skills, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of business relationships with selected key corporate accounts ensuring EMD Serono corporate leadership and devising strategies to increase Gonal-f demand
    • Manage business relationship with key multi- ART Center Groups and ensure access to EMD Serono Fertility Portfolio
    • Maintain high visibility Corporate Account leadership
    • Collaborate with ABDs, Marketing, and Thought Leader Liaisons to create and execute customized programs that drive EMD Serono Fertility Portfolio utilization
    • Negotiate current and future contracts
  • Develop, Implement and monitor strategies/tactics to position EMD Serono Products within fertility organizations that drive product selection (intermediaries)
    • Manage business relationship with intermediaries and ensure access to EMD Serono Fertility Portfolio
    • Maintain high visibility with leadership of various intermediary organizations
    • Collaborate with ABDs, Marketing, and TLLs to create and execute customized programs that drive EMD Serono Fertility Portfolio utilization
    • Negotiate current and future contracts
  • Lead collaboration with the field to ensure successful development and implementation of programs, tools, and services with SPPs, Corporate Accounts, and Intermediaries
  • Conduct field visits as necessary to evaluate effectiveness of fertility pharmacy programs, tools
  • Act as Managed Markets resource for payer presentations
  • Work with Managed Markets on national specialty pharmacy management
  • Evaluate on an ongoing basis, core strategies, programs and results of our competitors and communicate this information within the team and use the information to plan future strategies or change the direction of current ones
  • Partner with designated customer associations, both professional and consumer to ensure that EMD Serono is well acquainted and closely aligns with their goals and vice versa
