Perform EM sampling and microbiology testing to support manufacture facility. This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Technician will support or perform environmental monitoring and a wide variety of testing required to support process development and manufacturing under supervision.Â Perform a wide variety of laboratory testing activities such as media growth promotion bioburden testing, endotoxin testing, execution of protocols, qualification and testing of biological indicators, identify and assess isolated colonies and ensure that SOPs are followed and data generated are accurate
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs dynamic and non-operational environmental monitoring of the manufacturing facility.Â Maintains equipment essential for environmental monitoring.
Ensures that environmental monitoring materials inventory follows the FIFO system and that all materials used for sampling are within manufacturerâs expiration
Â· Â Â Â Responsible for personnel monitoring and gown qualifications.
Rotational training may include microbiological, biological and/or chemical evaluation of final product, intermediate products and raw materials, as well as, inspection and release of quarantined raw materials.

Education (minimum requirements):
Associates Degree in Scientific discipline or a minimum of 1 yearÂ experienceÂ
Â Knowledgeable in Lab environment with attention to SOP/GMP regulation
Â Basic understanding of biological and chemistry assays.
