Position Responsibilities:

1. Read protocols and plan for testing and equipment needs in advance. Schedule, prepare, and obtain necessary equipment and filters (well in advance) to conduct the test in a timely fashion.


2.Conduct the microbiological retention testing. Obtain all required clarification from the VPC immediately.


3.Raw data reviewing and protocol and report writing


4.Conduct required calibrations and maintain calibration records.


5.Purchase of lab consumables and equipment for Provantage lab.            .


6.Forward the completed data packages to the lab supervisor or the dedicated person in a timely fashion


7.Conduct any preliminary studies or special experiments as needed.


8.Assist as needed with all areas that fall under the preliminary technician qualification: media preparation, equipment cleaning and maintenance, plating.


9.Make recommendations on laboratory improvements, preparation exercises, and equipment as needed.  Make suggestions to improve test efficiency and process efficiency.

         Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements

           1.Education: Bachelor of Science, chemical or biotech.         

           2.Intermediate level position requires understanding of the general and technical aspects of the job.  

           3. Assignments are complex, where judgment is required in solving problems and making recommendations.  

            4. Works under general supervision, with some instruction given for routine work and detailed instructions for new types of work or special projects.  

            5.Working experience: at least 1 years experience in the labratory.

            6. Can communicate in English.
