Your role: Reporting to the Account Supervisor, the Scientific Services Specialist is primarily responsible for understanding customer requirements and developing custom products and procedures for the scientific kitchen program. The role is responsible for several important business functions such as maintaining customer relationships on-site and virtually, while also being responsible for production of product, order management, inventory control and maintenance, raw material procurement, shipping coordination, administrative duties and any other requirements assigned by the manager.
Who you are: Scientific Services Specialists are responsible for achieving all program sales, growth targets, profit margins targets, and forecast and revenue goals while consistently producing a high quality product for specific key accounts.
Skills and experience should include:
- A bachelor's degree in science or related field or demonstrated equivalent experience is required along with excellent communications (English speaking) and interpersonal relations skills
- At least 1 year experience in a laboratory production setting or related field
- Ability to travel as necessary (up to 20%) and a Valid U.S. Driver’s license
- Safe and effective laboratory skills
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use telephone and computer equipment
