Job Title: Account Manager

Our company is a leading science and technology company in healthcare, life science and performance materials. Around 50,000 employees in 67 countries work to further develop technologies that improve and enhance life-from biopharmaceutical therapies to treat cancer or multiple sclerosis, cutting-edge systems for scientific research and production, to liquid crystals for smartphones and LCD televisions.

 

Your role

  • Achieve sales target for the assigned region / customers / product – in line with company strategy
  • Act as the primary point of contact/support for customers in the assigned region;
  • Propose / implement specific promotional activities for customers & products within responsibility – i.e customer visits, customer seminars, demo activities, etc.
  • Offer technical support for customers before and after sales.;
  • Continuously develop the level of expertise / product knowledge / market knowledge to be able to add value to the customer
  • Work together with other departments to solve the customers problems
  • Product sales and support for roll-out of new product launches.

 

Job specific Competencies & Skills

•Strong sales skills and well developed analytical & problem-solving skills

•High knowledge of standard office software - Windows, MS Office (especially excel), Adobe acrobat, Internet.

•Strong Interpersonal skills (self-management, communication with impact & influencing, collaborative & teamwork, negotiation skills).

•Ability to quickly learn.

•Very good presentation skills and presentation preparation.

•Ability to work in team

•Driving license cat. B

•Advanced English language level.

 

Who you are?

• Necessary: Higher degree in Life Science: Chemistry / Microbiology

•Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the Chemical / Life Science business with proven sales success

•Laboratory experience in the field of Chemistry / Microbiology is an advantage
