Your role: As Sales Manager for the US & Canada, you are responsible to deliver the sales budget for the Decorative Solutions business in the territory. The Decorative Solutions business includes pigments and functional additives for the coatings, plastics, printing and high temperature industries. You will lead a team of sales account managers across the territory of the US, and will be leading them to achieve their individual results. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the go to market strategy in order to grow our sales for the target markets. As sales manager, you will develop tactics and plans to grow our business.  You are in charge of establishing long-term client relationships that result in further developing the business while achieving a high level of client satisfaction through your sales team.  

 

Who you are:  You are entrepreneurial thinker, with experience in the coatings, plastic, or chemical market. A strong leader who can guide the sales team to meet their sales plans. You bring new ideas to generate new business while continuing to motivate your team.

  • Bachelors degree in economics or science, preferably chemistry or material science.

  • MBA is a plus

  • Proactive, entrepreneurial thinking, collaborative, innovative, out of the box thinker.

  • Senior Industry knowledge in the coatings, plastic or chemical industry

  • 10+ years’ experience in B2B sales.

  • 5+ years leadership experience

  • Willingness to travel > 50% of your time.
