Your Role:

As a result of recent restructuring, MilliporeSigma has developed a specialized team dedicated to the sale and support of our industry-leading flow cytometry and imaging flow cytometry portfolio. Our products include the world-renowned Amnis, Guava, and Muse brands of cutting-edge cell analysis instruments and reagents. As a dedicated Flow Cytometry Sales Specialist, you will develop and implement sales strategies and tactics for meeting revenue goals and increasing general awareness of MilliporeSigma within key accounts.

You will manage all aspects related to the sales process. You will design and implement sales strategies, interact directly with scientists to understand their flow cytometry needs, and provide them with solutions from the MilliporeSigma Flow Cytometry portfolio. You will deliver seminars to life science researchers outlining our technology, and will coordinate instrument demonstrations and evaluations alongside our instrument Field Applications Scientist (iFAS) team. You will provide and negotiate pricing to customers and will manage a pipeline, and closely monitor and communicate sales order closing, in order to ensure timely delivery of products to our customers. You are ideally based in the San Francisco Bay area.

This is a full-time, field sales position and will require 50% or greater travel.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelors Degree in Life Science
  • Passion for science, collaborating with rewearchers to help them solve problems and achieve their goals.
  • Masters or PhD preferred
  • 3+ years of direct sales experience, with documented success, preferred
  • Previous experience calling on Academic, Bio-Pharma and/or Government accounts is a plus.
