The DataCenter Operations Team focuses on providing a dynamic and stable platform for the company’s various scientific goals. Our group is responsible for multiple datacenters around the world that provide a highly available and secure platform for a multitude of workloads.
Your role: You will deploy new technologies as well as design, install, configure, maintain and perform testing of PC/Server Operating systems, networks, and related utilities and hardware. You will provide infrastructure solutions based on application needs and anticipated growth, install new servers and maintain the infrastructure. This role includes monitoring the operating environments; responding to incidents/outages, problems and planning for future growth. The role of Infrastructure Engineer will need good communication and collaborative skills to work with non-technical and technical colleagues.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related fields
- 5+ years of Systems administration experience
- RedHat/SuSE/CentOS Linux administration experience is required
- Windows administration experience is required
- Basic or Advanced Networking experience is desirable
- Basic or Advanced Storage experience is required
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills (both oral & written)
- Ability to communicate and build relationships with technical teams
