The Inside Sales (IS) is solely accountable for the achievement of the sales targets designed by Merck Millipore Management for the territory.
The IS is responsible for managing the entire sales process: Follow up and closing the sale (Needs Assessment, Apply Technology/Product, Trouble shooting), Account Planning, Lead generation. The IS maximizes his active selling time by utilizing existing internal resources for pre- and post- sale tasks such as: technical support, quality complaints, trouble shooting, delivery issues and expediting.
The IS is responsible for all quote generation, the answers to the tenders and all kind of price inquiries.
The IS is accountable for his territory however, teamwork is required with the local Field Sales Specialists and Field Account Managers to provide leads and valuable field information, with the local and European Customer Service teams and the marketing team to organize his back-up plan, to share news regarding competition, success stories, product/service development recommendations and best practices with the Technical and Sales Support teams and the Field Service team to enhance overall customer satisfaction while maintaining a high level of respect for each other’s role and responsibilities.
The IS makes a proper and efficient use of all the tools available to support/develop & grow the customers’ portfolio: Salesforce.com, Samples, Sales Figures, pivot tables in Excel.
Short tem contract (18month) based in Molsheim France
Who you are:
- Sales Experience or Sales Support Experience in the Life Science arena focused on Reagents. Master and Laboratory Experience accepted.
- A good knowledge of the portfolio and the applications.
- Highly motivated by sales and self-directed. Excellent selling skills in a competitive environment. Excellent time management and organization skills to maximize time spent with customers within a large territory. Strong communication (verbal/written), interpersonal, and presentations skills.
- English and dutch fluent
