As the Associate Manager of User Experience, you’ll be at the front line of innovation and technology, helping bring ideas from concept to implementation.
Responsibilities include translating business requirements into design solutions for end users and other stakeholders. The role will provide leadership on matters of UX, IA, IxD, and Visual Design; proposing pragmatic solutions that are consistent with industry best practices, end user expectations while balancing technical, data, and schedule constraints.
Responsibilities include leading and overseeing various UX activities including user research, usability tests, user-flow diagrams, wireframes, high and low fidelity prototypes and other deliverables as required. Extensive knowledge of various web development technologies, trends in technology and design patterns including mobile/responsive design is required.
This is a hands-on role, and the candidate will be expected to lead through example. Portfolio required.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design or related field
- 5+ years working in UX role
- Extensive knowledge of UCD principles, usability testing methods, research, contextual inquiry
- Demonstrated experience with UX deliverables (storyboards, wireframes, low/high fidelity designs/prototypes)
- Working knowledge of web services & modern application architectures (REST, SPAs, HTML, CSS, JS)
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience leading teams, ecommerce a plus
