Your Role: Under close supervision, the Production Associate participates in entry-level production duties, such as filling, labeling, packaging, shipping and other duties as assigned

** This shift is Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM **

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Filling
    • Maintains the filling area stock and cleanliness as needed for continuous use.
  • Label printing
    • Handling printers and SAP data base. 
    • Check data towards standard
    • Troubleshoot printing issues.
  • Labeling
    • Assembles and washes dispensers used for product filling.
    • Prints and applies product labels based on a production plan.
  • Packaging
    • Packages products using standardized techniques and practices.
    • Stocks area inventories as necessary.
  • General Responsibilities and Authority:

    • Understands, supports, and communicates Company mission, vision, and values.

    • Understands and follows the requirements of the quality system.

    • Initiates actions as necessary to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance related to the product, process, or the quality system.
    • Identifies and documents any problems related to the product, process, or the quality system.
    • Recommends, provides, or initiates solutions by actively providing suggestions for improvement. Exercises control over further processing of nonconforming product until resolution has been made.

Who You Are:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Minimum of 1 year production experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an FDA or other regulated industry preferred.
  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred. 
  • Experience in using SAP or other ERP systems
  • Skills:
    • Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively.
    • Oral Communication: Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification.
    • Mathematical: Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide three digit numbers.
    • Read/Analyze/Interpret: Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and e-mails.
    • Write: Able to write simple correspondence and e-mails.
    • Speak: Able to effectively present information and respond to questions in one-on-one and small group situations of employees of the organization.
    • Computer Skills: Experience with emails and calendaring required. Prefer experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  •  Physical Requirements/Work Environment: 
    • Correctable vision is required.
    • Physical requirements include frequent sitting, use of hands, reaching with hands and arms; occasional talking, hearing, standing, and lifting; seldom will stoop or crouch.
    • Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. on occasion without assistance.
    • This position is that of a normal production office and has a moderate noise level (computers, printers, light traffic)
