MilliporeSigma is hiring for a eCommerce B2B Excellence Specialist. This role will be responsible for driving adoption rates and incremental sales growth through the eProcurement (B2B) channel, focusing on our existing customers with an eProcurement platform integration.


Your role: In this role you will use data, voice of customer, internal stakeholders & other information sources to screen for growth opportunities of the eProcurement channel. You will also collaborate with 3rd party eProcurement platform providers and internal teams to co-develop new functionality that improves the customer experience. You will support the local commercial teams on customer visits by actively driving the B2B channel conversation with the aim to identify channel challenges and opportunities. Interface directly with the various personas of our customers to understand the unique aspects of their buying journey. Use insights from these conversations to develop and execute against revenue initiatives. Work hand in hand with Training and Development teams to create and deliver eProcurement trainings to various departments within the organization. Mine various data sources to identify trends in the Life Sciences eProcurement market.



Who you are: You should understand the eProcurement buying channel both from a technical and commercial standpoint and how it is evolving to meet the expectations of B2B customers. You are passionate about developing novel methods to grow revenue within the E-Business channel and about enhancing the organization’s reputation on B2B capabilities with internal and external stakeholders. You can use data to identify and execute against revenue growth initiatives. In this role you will also map out and analyze the customer buying journeys within the eProcurement channel and define opportunities to improve the buying experience for our customers.



  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position

  • Technical knowledge of the different eProcurement (B2B) integration components and experience with major 3rd party eProcurement platforms (Examples include Ariba, Jaggaer)

  • Experience gathering customer and market intelligence and using analytics to support revenue growth strategies

  • Proven success in driving adoption rates for new technologies

  • Team player and self-starter with excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and presentation skills. Ability to collaborate with all levels of staff and create relationships

  • Proficient in project management, training delivery & change management methodology

  • Up to 40% travel, mostly NA, some overseas
