Your role:

 

The Technology Transfer Specialist is responsible for aspects of technical transfer and scale up in GMP manufacturing. The position’s primary functions is to act as the Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) team lead. The specific activities of this include initial data entry of process information from drafted batch records into Process Hazard Analysis software program, coordination of cross functional team that performs the PHA, confirmation of successful completion of identified actions and close out of the PHA, and completion of Revalidation PHAs on a frequency of at least every five years and Update PHAs as required. The secondary function is the evaluation and costing of incoming business opportunities. This includes reviewing content of customer technology transfer packages and evaluation of fitness for manufacturing at the site, supporting Project Management and Business Development through preparation of cost evaluations of potential business and making recommendations for production areas suitable to customer needs, and paticipating in meetings with potential customers as needed and provide feedback and recommendations for techniology transfer.

 

Basic qualifications

  • B.S./ M.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related Life Science degree
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing
  • Thorough understanding of MS office suite with a strong focus on MS Excel and ability to work with complicated spreadsheets

Preferred qualifications

  • Fixed vessel (> 50-gallon and larger) experience preferred
  • Experience with Process Hazard Analysis software program desired
  • Able to run technical meetings with a cross functional team of experts

  • Work schedule: Day shift
