The Sales account manager is responsible to achieve sales bugdet by promoting and selling pigments and technical additves to established Key Accounts and new customers in the coatings and packaging industry to which we are one of the main suppliers of high-end effect pigments and highly innovative functional solutions. The person will be in charge of establishing long-term client relationships that result in further developing the business while achieving a high level of client satisfaction through outstanding service and expertise. This position will cover the Midwest / Northeast region, and will be field service.
This role will be part of the sales department for effect pigments for the coatings, plastics, and printing industry; as well as for technical functional solutions.
Your Role: As Account Manager, you promote and sell products, services and solutions directly to established Key Accounts and new customers in the coatings and packaging industry to which we are one of the main suppliers of high-end effect pigments and highly innovative functional solutions. You are in charge of establishing long-term client relationships that result in further developing the business while achieving a high level of client satisfaction through outstanding service and expertise. You will cover the Midwest sales territory and should be located within this area.
Who You Are: You are entrepreneurial thinker and acting with a strong sense relative industry knowledge.
- Graduate degree (or equivalent) in economics or science, preferably chemistry or material science.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial thinking and acting with a strong sense of the coatings market, its competitive landscape and technology trends.
- Senior Industry knowledge and experience of approximately 3-5 years in B2B sales.
- Willingness to travel within your sales territory > 75% of your time.
