Your Role: The Product Manager will drive support and management of a strategic, proprietary line of flow cytometry analyzers in the Flow Cytometry Franchise. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Product Manager is responsible for product line strategy, new product definition and development, and product launch and support through coordination with applicable functions within MilliporeSigma, including R&D, Project Management, Sales, Technical Support, Planning, Customer Service, Marketing Communications, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, and Quality. The Product Manager will establish worldwide marketing strategies, including product direction, advertising, packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans and future product development to manage a product or product category's lifecycle. The Product Manager may also lead functional or project teams to facilitate objectives. Position may require frequent travels – up to 25%. Role will be based in Seattle, Washington, USA.
Who You Are:
- BS degree with 8+ years’ experience, MS degree with 3+ years’ experience, or PHD
- Degree in biological or life science strongly preferred
- MBA preferred
- Experience in a product management in life science strongly preferred
- Technical and/or marketing experience in Flow Cytometry, and Immunology desired
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Successfully work with closely with internal partners and external customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
