ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
•Recommend and develop/design programs and training/retraining courses which will meet the learning objectives for employees by delivering core training during onboarding, obtaining proficiency and exploring future growth opportunities.
•Work with business managers to conduct needs analysis, develop learning objectives and provide consultation services to them to define competency requirements for necessary training for the employee(s) and the department(s) on business specific initiatives, regulations, systems, and projects
•Research training materials from a variety of vendors and choose appropriate materials based on business need.
•Conduct training courses as needed for site level training and may assist with department level training.
•Work with other site, company, and local community resources to design/develop training courses/programs to aid in improving, standardizing, and expediting our training process.
•Work with individual department trainers or designees to ensure common training is carried out in a standardized manner and schedule.
•Ensure a standardized system is utilized across the site for all training documentation and storage of records.
•May provide feedback to department management concerning trainer/trainee performance.
•Responsible for ensuring all areas on site have the tools and knowledge available to complete all training requirements.
•Assists with the enforcement of company safety, work, and housekeeping standards. Evaluates processes and methods, recommends and implements measures to improve safety. Ensures employees are trained on safe handling of hazardous chemicals.

•Conducts audits to ensure proper training is being completed per prescribed protocol
•Assists in controlling costs and ensures supplies are ordered and used appropriately.
•Promotes and actively participates in process improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
•Learn and work with all company and governmental regulations: including ISO, DOT, CFR, IATA, IMO, OSHA, DEA and Factory Mutual guidelines.
•Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in the sciences and/or organizational development, business, HR, or relevant field
- Relevant chemical handling experience/knowledge preferred
- Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in organizational development, training and development, or related human resources experience and marketing communications, preferably in support of global supply chain operations.
