  • Lead revenue forecasting for U.S. Oncology assets-projects span commercially marketed products, launch products, internal pipeline candidates, new business opportunities, annual strategic planning, and portfolio review processes;
  • Support the development of comprehensible, transparent, and standardized forecasting models that meet business needs, based on statistical models of historic time-series, patient models, and causal methods;
  • Develop criteria to evaluate various data inputs (syndicated demand, trade, etc.) to improve predictive value of forecasts for pharmaceutical products;
  • Provide key performance indicators and guidance in the interpretation of revenue forecasts, identify potential risks and opportunities for senior management, and enable internal clients to make appropriate strategic and tactical business decisions to determine some pharmaceutical investment and planning;
  • Contribute to the evaluation, analysis, integration, and correlation of available data sources such as secondary market audits, primary market research, competitive intelligence, sales analytics data, financial data, supply chain data, and managed markets data;
  • Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to review forecast assumptions; and
  • Maintain consistency and transparency of assumptions by implementing discipline with stakeholders, examining and challenging the robustness of all assumptions.


Travel requirement: 10% domestic travel required.


Requirements & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences or a closely related field and five (5) years of progressively more responsible experience in analysis and forecasting in the pharmaceutical industry;
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to build forecast models, statistical trending tools, generate assumptions, and assess revenue potential for the company's assets gained through two (2) years of work experience in oncology forecasting
  • Demonstrated ability to use ForecastPRO, Crystal Ball, or @Risk software to run Monte Carlo simulations in oncology forecasting gained through two (2) years of work experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret oncology pharmaceutical data sets including IMS data (claims, DDD, or NSP), Intrinsiq, or Ipsos gained through two (2) years of work experience;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of competitive intelligence, market analysis, and data management in the pharmaceutical industry gained through two (2) years of work experience; and
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across multiple stakeholders, including at least two of the following: marketing, market access, sales, medical, finance, competitive intelligence, or supply chain gained through two (2) years of work experience.


All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
