Your role: The Performance Materials Communication Business Partner role plays a key role in ensuring change management initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage for all Performance Materials sites in the US. The primary responsibility will be implementing the tactical change management plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance from a communications standpoint. This person will focus on the people side of change – helping the company to make changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. In addition, this role will provide analysis of internal and external communication needs and definition of key milestones, strategies and implementation plans to support the business objectives.
Who you are: Must have exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal as well as excellent active listening skills to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. The ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal. Forward looking with a holistic approach. Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
- Bachelor’s degree or minor degree in communications or a related field is required.
- Requires relevant professional experience (approximately 2-4 years as a guide)
- Strong competency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google+Local, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
- Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media. (Nice to have: Give links to profiles as examples).
