An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our company as Manufacturing Technician IV in Synthesis Laboratory in Round Rock. The Synthesis Manufacturing Technician IV is responsible for laboratory maintenance and housekeeping activities in support of the synthesis laboratory. Depending on experience and background, the Technician can be assigned to conduct synthetic projects under supervision of a scientist in support of catalog and custom products. Some of the responsibilities include glassware cleaning and organization, calibration and verification of laboratory equipment as well as routine maintenance of equipment, inventory management of synthetic reagents and participation in waste management activities.
Who you are:
- Associate Degree in an applicable science field with 3-5 years of experience or a BS degree in an applicable science field with 1-3 years of experience.
- The Manufacturing Technician IV has a good understanding of MilliporeSigma and customer products, their applications and requirements.
- The Manufacturing Technician IV understands MilliporeSigma quality system requirements for GMPs, GLPs, ISO and other regulations.
- Chemistry knowledge preferred.
