Responsibilities:

The Senior IT Analyst – SAP will be responsible for the following job duties:

  1. Analyze business functional requirements and develop solutions and programs in ERP/Web-Technology;
  2. Facilitate and lead the development and delivery of RICEFW objects in multiple areas of SAP such as FI, MM, SD, WM, and PP;
  3. Translate high level business requirements into functional and technical requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible for developers and other team members;
  4. Facilitate and participate in User Demos of Development Units;
  5. Design and develop complex solutions in multiple areas of SAP(MM, SD, PP, Warehousing)/ABAP Technology;
  6. Gather requirements for new processes/improvements from business functions and convert them into Functional/Technical Designs;
  7. Assist by providing time estimates of the assigned project tasks and report any estimate changes;
  8. Design and deliver Technical Units using Agile Development model and/or Waterfall project methodology;
  9. Provide ABAP support and enhance multiple modules within SAP(MM, SD, PP, Warehousing), including custom and delivered SAP programs;
  10. Support troubleshooting SAP interfaces with external Applications;
  11. Provide technical assistance to the process teams in debugging functional issues as needed;
  12. Work with vendors and internal parties to troubleshoot and fix data interfaces;
  13. Tune the solutions and objects for performance in multiple areas of SAP;
  14. Support and facilitate integration testing of various RICEFW objects;
  15. Facilitate the transport of various objects and solutions across the SAP landscape;
  16. Participate in cutover activities during the Go-Live phase;
  17. Participate and facilitate the post Go-Live support activities;
  18. Work closely with SAP functional teams to analyze and test the effect of system changes as needed; and
  19. Maintain technical expertise, keeping current with evolving processes, systems, and technologies and sharing that knowledge with colleagues and IT management.

 

Travel requirement: 10% domestic and 10% international.

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

Employer requires a Bachelor's degree in any field as well as six (6) years of progressively more responsible work experience with multiple SAP modules, implementation, analysis, and troubleshooting.

 

In addition, the employer requires the following:

  1. Demonstrated ability to apply concepts of other SAP modules to Warehousing module;
  2. Demonstrated ability gathering requirements for global SAP implementation with SAP Warehouse Management module;
  3. Demonstrated ability performing SAP design and implementation; and
  4. Demonstrated ability troubleshooting and supporting the SAP product.

 

All years of work experience may be gained concurrently.
