Your role: Act as the Strategic Partner for all related IT digital matters and projects (e.g. e-commerce, ERP, Pricing, Customer Service), as well as, serving proactively as a trusted advisor and the single point of contact for IT to commercial leaders. Overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface with the Life Science Research Solutions business unit for the purpose of Information Technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. The IT Business Partner serves as the business relationship link between business units and IT at the executive/Leadership level. Provide highly valued strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives. Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives. Proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units.
Who you are: You have demonstrated leadership in elaborating or influencing high level plans in a changing environment. You have experience managing matrix capabilities, as well as, managing diverse teams and projects. You have a proactive and collaborative mindset, and are outcome focused and solution oriented. Ability to understand, analyze and identify IT digital solutions towards business challenges and needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field required; Master’s, preferred.
10+ years professional experience in related field with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments digitalization and business segments.
Executive presentation and communication skills, with experience in communicating with Sr. Management is required.
5+ years leadership experience in building technology strategies and delivering larger project portfolios
Deep understanding and practical experience of ecommerce and CRM Applications (e.g. SFDC, SAP etc…) and ERP fundamentals
Ability to understand global and local business strategic direction and requirements in a multi country, multi-cultural and matrix environment.
Solid foundation in project management methodology
Experience within the Life Science industry in the area of diagnostics and food beverage, preferred
Ability to work with minimal supervision and excellent self-management skills
Travel Requirements: up to 30%
