You role: Come and strengthen our growing team. Reporting to the Medical Manager Neurology & Immunology BeLux, you will work alongside another MSL who recently joined the team. Responsible for Flanders, you will establish and manage scientific and clinical peer-to-peer relations with Key Thoughts Leaders. As Medical Science Liaison Neurology & Immunology, you provide medical and scientific expertise to ensure the development of our new products and the optimal positioning of our existing ones. In this role you will work on currently marketed medicines (Rebif), participate to the launch of new ones (Mavenclad), and prepare future launches. Responsibilities include assisting clinical trials of marketed products, product line extensions and products under development. You will ensure the dissemination of information, documentation, labeling and scientific materials for marketed products, in compliance with corporate standards, government/industry regulations and legal requirements. You are the medical responsible for our products at local level (BeLux), providing medical expertise, scientifically supporting commercial functions, interacting with relevant stakeholders and supporting our clinical programs. You will provide healthcare professionals and decision makers with accurate and timely answers to requests for information about our products and programs, as well as actively participate in key medical and scientific conferences and observe potential/sponsored speakers. You will advise on our medical strategy, define local tactics and priorities, facilitate the submission of publications and of Investigators Sponsored Trials, and assist in site selection for our Clinical R&D projects.
Who you are:
- You have a Scientific Degree
- You have preferably 3+ years of experience within a Pharmaceutical Medical Affairs team. Experience and network in Neurology and/or Immunology is an asset
- You have a strong knowledge of the Belgian pharmaceutical environment and legislation
- You are collaborative and have an entrepreneurial and hands-on approach
- Fluency in English and Dutch mandatory, good command of French is an asset
