The Analytical Center of Expertise is supporting development teams and quality control operations across the entire network for biological products, including the critical quality attribute (CQA) evaluation. The purpose of this position is to act as lead expert in structural biology in cooperation with the CQA Assessment Manager, to identify the potential CQAs of our biotech products based on: literature, laboratory data, structural analysis, and participating to cross-functional teams for risks assessment of CQAs. The candidate will execute in silico structural modelling activities for proteins, with the scope of improving the evaluation of CQA, bridging protein structural components with functional features in terms of biotech drug efficacy and safety. The candidate will support the comparative analysis studies (physico-chemical and biological characterization) of marketed products to improve the knowledge of products and and differentiate them from those of the competitors.
Who you are:
- Degree in Life Science required with a Ph.D in structural biology
- Strong technical expertise in protein structural/computational analysis, with proficient use of bioinformatics and computational tools (MOE or Schrodinger software)
- Proven track records on protein structural/computational analysis, in academic environment; experience in Biopharmaceutical Industry is a plus
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent English skills
