Reporting into the Head of Production Planning for the Separations & Instruments Technology Cluster with dotted line reporting into the Jaffrey Site Head, you have the overall responsibility for all supply planning, material management and Warehouse logistics in support of Jaffrey Operations.
You are responsible for developing the production planning strategy in support of Jaffrey operations and the business KPIs and metrics including on time completions (executable schedules), back order reduction, managing to target inventory levels (RM&WIP) and supporting Make/Buy decisions. You also support capacity planning in support of capital and annual operating budgeting.
You manage staff responsible for shop floor planning, staff responsible for material management including purchased part planner/buyers and Warehouse logistics (including transfer of raw materials from off-site locations to the manufacturing site).
You are responsible for improvement of flow of raw materials and components into the warehouse and finished goods outbound to our distribution network.
You interface with Site operations leadership, Business partners and other supply chain professionals (Demand Planning and Network Planning).
Who you are:
- BS preferred
- APICS/CPIM certifications or equivalent preferred
- 10 years experience in manufacturing operations, experience in Production Planning preferred
- Strong leadership and influencing skills with previous experience managing a functional organization
- Familiarity with Oracle, SAP or ERP equivalent
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing training/certifications preferred
