Your Role:

The Senior Scientist is the scientific resource for Molecular Biology in the Testing Research and Development Services team. The Senior Scientist is responsible for the scientific integrity of technical work in R&D Services and for ensuring the needs of internal and external clients are met effectively, interpreted, and communicated.


The Senior Scientist will be the lead role in service introduction which includes test method development, client testing, validation and equipment performance qualification studies in line with appropriate quality driven requirements and regulations. The incumbent will prepare scientific literature including technology reviews, publications, posters, and marketing collateral. The successful candidate will initiate, direct and execute scientific research and development projects in consultation with the management and act as the technical lead on new product development teams and may be the technical expert on multiple projects.


Who you are:

  • Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Virology or Cell Biology with 4 or more years of relevant experience
  • MA/MS in scientific discipline with 10 or more years relevant experience
  • Experience in cGXP testing or manufacturing environment
  • Relevant working knowledge and experience in area executing and overseeing technical projects and/or related studies (i.e. Virology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology)
  • Scientific recognition in specific area in the industry
  • Experience leading and/or supervising staff in a laboratory setting
