This position is for 2nd shift (3:30pm – 12:00am M-F). Initial training of up to 3 months will be during 1st shift (8:00am-4:30pm M-F).
Laboratory Technicians are a key contributor to the overall quality and development of products and processes at our Branchburg, NJ site. Our products are sold globally and include advanced chemical formulations sold to the semiconductor and display industries. These products include photoresists, solvent mixtures, and coatings that require critical control during weighing, mixing, filtration, and packaging.
You will prepare chemical formulations ranging from a few grams to several gallons. You will sample raw materials from manufacturing to fulfill lab needs, support laboratory activities by keeping accurate records, maintain detailed inventories, order supplies, and maintain good lab housekeeping. You will also occasionally run analytical tests to assure product quality.
Who You Are:
- Associates degree in a Science or Engineering field –OR- High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of work experience as a Laboratory Technician or Chemical Operator
- 1+ years of Experience with Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Hands-on experience in a chemical laboratory or chemical manufacturing setting
- Experience with viscosity, GC, water content, or other analytical techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with SAP
