Performs dynamic and static environmental monitoring of the cleanrooms in the manufacturing facility. Maintains equipment essential for environmental monitoring. Ensures that environmental monitoring materials inventory follows the FIFO system and that all materials used for sampling are within manufacturer’s expiration· Responsible for personnel monitoring and gown qualifications. Rotational training may include microbiological, biological and/or chemical evaluation of final product, intermediate products and raw materials, as well as, inspection and release of quarantined raw materials. Comply with cGMP documentation, cGMP Practices and Regulations and regulation, Policies and Regulations, and perform other duties as instructed.
- Clear communication skills; both verbally and in writing to the various groups within EMD and follow safety procedures
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative and motivation
- Follows company health, safety and environmental policies
- Adheres to company quality procedures and requirements
Who You Are:
Ability to be able to sit, stand, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, use fingers, hands, arms to handle, move, manipulate, and reach objects and materials.
- Associates Degree in Scientific discipline plus a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience or BA/BS in scientific discipline
- 1+ year experience in basic Lab techniques
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
- 2+ years’ experience with handling chemicals, experience utilizing PPE in a chemical handling environment
