The position of Master Data Analyst reports to the Technology Transfer and ERP department in Temecula, CA. The department is responsible for data management, data governance, and new product introduction.
The Master Data Analyst will be responsible for providing master data analysis based on the master data that represents all products from the Life Science Reagents portfolio of MilliporeSigma. In addition to data analyst, the Master Data Analyst will work with the data governance team and project teams to determine what data needs to be tracked, queried, and analyzed. The Master Data Analyst will also be responsible for ERP and related reporting in support of data related projects and dashboards.
Who you are:
The position of Master Data Analyst requires extensive experience in ERP systems, such as Oracle and SAP, extensive experience in ERP reporting through Business Objects and related reporting systems, and expertise in Excel and Word. The position requires creative thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as extensive experience in analysis of complex data. Experience in Microsoft Access is preferred. The applicant must have good attention to detail and be able to work well in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED and 10 years on-the-job experience in ERP system data analysis
- 5+ years’ experience ERP system data analysis with minimum of 5 years specifically with a life science company
- Expertise in MS Word, Excel and Access highly preferred
- ERP system experience, such as Oracle and SAP and extensive experience in ERP reporting highly preferred
