The Round Rock site manufactures high quality quantitative chemical reference standards for clinical, forensic/toxicology, pharmaceuticals, health, and environmental applications. The Analytical Quality Control Department is responsible for testing and certification of raw materials, intermediates, catalog and new products, stability and retest program, custom products, custom analytical services and analytical services for internal departments.
As the Quality Control Manager, you are responsible for managing and overseeing the Quality Control Laboratory and Quality Control Team which includes the following: testing and certification of raw materials, intermediates, catalog and new products, stability and retest program, custom products, custom analytical services and analytical services for internal departments. The QC Manager will provide leadership, coaching support and direction to the Quality Control team. The position is responsible for implementing and maintenance of laboratory systems including: scheduling, equipment qualification, maintenance, and validation, ensuring compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 17025 and ISO 17034. The Quality Control Manager will work closely with Quality Assurance, Innovations, Regulatory, Production, Operations, Sales, and Service to support Quality System compliance and customer needs. Responsible for leading and sponsoring improvement initiatives and goals as directed by Site Quality Director.

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry with 5 years + experience working in Analytical Science production environment working with small molecules and/or biologics.
- Prior management and leadership experience in an analytical science laboratory or regulated environment is desired.
- Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develop alternative solutions; works well in a group problem solving situations; presents ideas and information in a manner that gets others' attention; displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions; includes appropriate people in decision-making process.
