Your Role:

MilliporeSigma is seeking an Associate Segment Marketing Manager for the BioProcessing Segments team to harness communication practices and data analytics that will further evolve our Segments capabilities in accelerating market growth. As an individual contributor, he/she will work within the Plasma Segment team focused on plasma segment projects, employing nimbleness and flexibility when priorities shift. In this role you will capture metrics for quarterly stakeholder reports leveraging SalesForce.com and SAP Business Intelligence (BI); collaborate with cross-functional counterparts (Sales, Finance, R&D, Manufacturing, Operations) and provide project management skills in the development and implementation of Plasma Segment programs; develop innovative tactics to communicate portfolio value to Plasma segment target audience; communicate the status of projects and identify appropriate internal resources (Marcom, Market Intelligence, Sales Effectiveness); develop marketing communications assets and sales tools to support segment campaigns including content generation support.

Position requires global travel up to 10% of the time.

Who You Are:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years’ experience in a technical or scientific background

     OR

  • Master’s degree with 2+ years’ experience with a technical or scientific background

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in pharma/biopharm/life science sector preferred
  • Experience in a complex, global organization preferred
  • Organizational integration and engagement: Ability to work in close alignment with people from other functions and to influence and engage with others to address issues, resolve conflicts and ensure the best overall outcome, ability to communicate across boundaries, build cross-functional collaboration and influence without direct authority
  • Technical/Application Knowledge: Knowledgeable about MilliporeSigma’s Process Solutions capabilities, the applications in which they perform, and how they add value to the customer
  • Self-motivated and positive outlook: has a strong desire to drive for / deliver exceptional results, looks for continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Experience in a complex, global organization preferred
  • Experience in pharma/biopharm/life science sector strongly preferred
  • Analytical ability: Ability to identify and analyze what is important and to interpret and synthesize issues and data to draw conclusions; ability to understand interdependencies and cause and effect relationships
  • Communication & Presentation skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing; ability to recognize when, how, and with whom things should be communicated
  • Project Ownership & Management: Ability to take ownership for ensuring the desired outcome of a project and to establish and monitor the project milestones toward the objective
