Your Role: As the Medical Learning Program Manager, you are responsible for development and execution of medical education activities to support all therapeutic areas within EMD Serono Canada. You will liaise with the Therapeutic Area Medical Managers, Marketing, and Sales to identify medical learning needs and create, develop, and execute Medical Learning programs/events as per the Medical Brand plan for each Therapeutic Area. You will participate in Brand Planning sessions to lead the development of Medical learning strategies aimed at addressing unmet educational gaps and aligned to the overall Brand strategic imperatives. You will provide input on scientific content to guarantee high standards of scientific quality and assure program content and execution are in compliance with medical learning regulations (Rx&D) and EMD Serono Policies and Procedures.

You will also liaise with the speaker faculty for the preparation of the program description, learning objectives, target audience, preliminary and final programs, abstracts, and Medical Learning documentation such as faculty honorarium forms, disclosures, etc. You will ensure proper briefing with the Coordinator on medical learning requirements, administrative tasks and program timelines and work with the Coordinator to prepare the meeting budget & optimal meeting logistics (selection of venues, site checks).

Who You Are: You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study and are fluent in English, with French language as an asset. You have a minimum of 3-5 years of combined pharmaceutical sales and marketing experience, preferably with experience in Medical Learning program development. You must be able to produce a portfolio of Medical Learning programs created, developed and implemented without the involvement of an agency.

You are highly organized, have a strong attention to detail, and are pro-active and able to take on additional responsibilities on short notice. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and are energetic and can problem solve in a fast-paced environment. You also have a strong ability to work independently and in a team environment and have availability to travel up to 40% of the time (domestic and/or international), sometimes over the weekends.
