Your Role:

You will serve as the primary point of contact for generating sales of products and services from existing and prospective academic customers in Hessen and/or Baden-Wuerttemberg. You will coordinate all our customer support functions, including field and office based specialists, to help our customers meet their objectives and maximize business opportunities. You will utilize the available tools and resources to track and report sales activity and share account knowledge, exceed sales targets, ensuring a sustainable, profitable growth. You will plan and manage activities within your territory to ensure a high level of customer support, initiate customers contacts and coordinate visits to develop and maintain a broad and deep network with prospective customers and maintain relationships with existing ones. It will be essential to have a deep understanding of the customer drivers and deliver the appropriate products, services and resources.

Who you are:

  • Scientific degree or PhD in relevant techniques, min. 2 years sales experience in academic accounts desired
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Good business acumen and able to produce and interpret sales data in various formats
  • The ability to carry out any additional tasks as set by your line manager
  • German and English (oral and written)
  • Willingness to travel (80%)
  • Home-office based
