This position is for Area Sales Manager for Kolkata handling accounts for Sales with business value of 13.5 Cr. He is responsible to drive Sales Revenue and Customer Relationship Management.

Responsible for achieving sales goals. Develops and executes account plans. Identifies customer needs and develops solutions. Grows our share within the account. Identifies opportunities to partner and collaborate. Resolves customer issues. Maintains a pipeline of short and long-term growth opportunities. Collaborates and coordinates with appropriate stakeholders.

  • Responsible for achieving assigned sales goals
  • Develops account plans and coordinates activities with appropriate internal stakeholders
  • Analyzes accounts and territory and identifies opportunities to accelerate revenue growth
  • Engages with customers to build and maintain relationships
  • Assesses customer needs and identifies opportunities to growth our presence in the account
  • Executes a series of sales tactics to grow revenue including account opportunity analysis, quarterly business reviews, competitive differentiation, value proposition communication, NPI roll-outs and other marketing directed programs
  • Develops quotes and negotiates with the customer
  • Manages the end to end sales process for assigned products
  • Resolves customer issues
  • Maintains an in depth understanding of the competitive landscape within assigned accounts and territory
  • Maintains technical product and scientific knowledge
  • Maintains a cadence of account management activities including internal and customer facing business reviews
  • Builds business acumen and selling skills including problem solving, negotiation and relationship management
  • Inputs customer information and opportunities into the CRM system

Develops and maintains a short and long-term opportunity growth opportunity pipeline
