Your Role:

The Senior Marketing Specialist - Customer Journey and Digital Portal will implement solutions to improve the overall customer experience for our IVD manufacturing customers.

This role has two main responsibilities: (1) expand the Digital Portal to our customers in Western Europe; (2) apply best practices of the manufacturing customer management model (Customer Excellence) to more of our product portfolio. Success in this highly visible role will require partnering with colleagues across Marketing, Product Management, eBusiness, Applied Sales Support (NA and WEU), and Operations at key manufacturing sites to map the current state, identify opportunities and implement pilots to validate recommendations.

Candidates for the Senior Marketing Specialist – Customer Journey and Digital Portal will look to push our organization towards a Customer-Centric point of view in its approach to addressing the challenges our IVD manufacturing customers face in managing their raw material spend and supply.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or business related major
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer facing role (i.e. customer support/sales/operations)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer segment-specific knowledge (IVD)
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to function in a complex, matrix business environment
  • Ability to manage multiple problems simultaneously with a degree of independence
  • Intellectually curious; able to assimilate a broad base of information to quickly understand customer needs and match those to opportunities and corporate capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong persuasive skills
