Your Role: As the Program Coordinator you will be responsible for the co-ordination, management and implementation of all Medical Learning meeting logistics. You will work closely with the Medical Learning Program Manager to carry out the duties related to meeting planning including:

  • Selection, sourcing and contract negotiations with venues, and where applicable, with external meeting event coordinators.
  • Co-ordination of necessary A/V and catering arrangements.
  • Co-ordination of the release of participant invitation and follow up communications.
  • Co-ordination of participant transportation and accommodation requirements.
  • Co-ordination of all onsite packages and required materials.
  • Management of the logistics of the venue during the meetings, which includes interface with customers.

You will also be responsible for establishing/maintaining good relationships with vendors and ensure all programs follow and meet EMD Serono compliance rules.

Who You Are: You have previous meeting planning experience (3 - 5 years minimum experience planning, coordinating and producing corporate events) and have previous experience with pharmaceutical codes. Have ability to travel approximately 30% of the time; however, this may vary. You have excellent computer skills and communication skills, both written and verbal and are bilingual (English and French) as an asset. You also have effective organizational and project management skills and can manage several projects simultaneously. You also have excellent interpersonal skills and can multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
