Your role:

The Principal DBD (all genders) has two main responsibilities, trial activities, non-trial activities, with trial activities, the role is responsible for DB creation including eCRFs, aCRFs preparation, develop test and perform change control and maintain for DB, manage user account, edit check creation including program, test, document and maintain edit checks, program reports or listings, database operations including generate SDTM datasets, run edit checks or listings on clinical data as needed, perform electronic data imports and exports, data archiving, perform post production changes, lock/unlock databases as requested. Non-trial activities, system maintenance and process improvements including lead and/or support the develop or continue improve the process, technologies, conventions, standards, policies, SOPs and WIs as needed, system validation as needed, develop and maintain standard library, to perform surveillance of database developers' activities regarding the quality and timeliness of the deliverables and ensure the database is ready for use, Develop independently, monitor and maintain tools needed in GCDS as agreed by the project leader from concept through implementation with the adequate Software Development Lifecycle documentation, Track system performance and liaison with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve errors and bugs, mentor DBDs, train and mentor DBDs.


Who you are:

  • Proven experience in clinical data management in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, equivalent to 6 years
  • Proficiency with one or more EDC tools
  • Proficiency with SQL, PL/SQL
  • Sound knowledge of SAS, SDTM, UNIX, HTML, XML VBSCRIPT is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of regulations and guidance with regard to clinical development and the systems used in this context
