An opportunity has arisen to join out company as Associate Quality Scientist. As part of the Quality Control team, you perform activities in support of GMP products, including routine testing and peer review of raw materials, final products, and stability samples in a timely manner according to approved procedures. You coordinate laboratory investigations and participate in root cause analysis and CAPA, as needed. In addition, you identify and coordinate process improvement projects, train others and act as a technical consultant, as needed and complete support functions, including equipment maintenance, reagent preparation, supply stocking and waste disposal. All activities are performed in accordance with site safety requirements and adherence to applicable GMP regulations.
Who you are:
- Bachelors in Chemistry or related physical science.
- Min. 4 years GMP laboratory experience in Quality Control.
- Attention to detail, problem solving, organizational skills
- Experience with compendial test methods (ID, ROI, LOD, titrations, specific rotation, etc.)
- Experience with instrumental analysis (FTIR, HPLC, GC, preferred)
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment validation
- Communication skills, oral and written
