Responsibilities:

 

  1. Review and assess computer and information system needs of assigned business unit regarding resources and deployment of SAP material management and SAP logistic execution modules;
  2. Analyze business needs and functional best practices to support growth of SAP materials management & logistic execution modules;
  3. Develop and implement SAP materials management & logistic execution modules by utilizing a strong functional & technical knowledge of SAP in the material management areas of procurement, inventory management (IM) and invoice verification & logistic execution areas of warehouse management, shipping & transportation and deep understanding of integration of SAP material management & logistic execution with other cross modules like sales & distribution (SD), finance (FI) & production planning (PP) and non-SAP applications;
  4. Understand the overall business models and ensure all integrated functional modules of SAP are configured optimally and aligned well for implementation;
  5. Evaluate emerging technology solutions and applicability to support an effective SAP material management & logistic execution ecosystem environment to meet the demands of the business for information;
  6. Responsible for incident management, change request management approach, unit and integration testing with ability of functional specification documentation for all enhancement and support projects in the areas of SAP materials management & logistics execution modules.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Six (6) years of progressively more responsible work experience in SAP implementation
  • Demonstrated ability serving as an SAP Materials Management & SAP Logistics Execution consultant working with all sub modules of SAP including Procurement, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, Warehouse Management, and Shipping & Transportation gained through six (6) years of work experience
  • Demonstrated ability working with end-to-end implementations and integrations within SAP by working cross functionally between Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Finance, Production Planning, Warehouse Management, and Logistics Execution gained through six (6) years of work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to align business needs with industry best practices gained through six (6) years of SAP application experience within a corporate environment

 

20% international travel required.

 

All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
