As Leader External Supply Chain Management (all genders), you will have the accountability for developing and implementing Process Governance for Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) Management within our Supply Network Operations (SNO)/Global Healthcare Operations and in cooperation with other responsible functions (External Supply Operations (ESO), Quality, Procurement).
You will further be accountable for coordinating and enforcing remediation actions at CMOs regarding optimal performance in material logistics, production scheduling etc. including providing input on contractual templates.
To fully support our strategy, we need you for defining and implementing a continuous improvement process for external supply chain operations, for defining, collecting and reporting CMO Supply Chain KPIs, for providing risk management and serving as escalation point regarding external supply chain related ad-hoc issues. You will ensure a seamless and efficient collaboration both externally between CMO´s and our company and internally between SNO and other relevant functions.
You will represent SNO within X-Site and other internal platforms and take the role of the primary business partner for ESO within Global Pharma Operations (GPO). Further, you will represent the GPS leaders during cross functional internal and external platforms and keep the GPS leaders informed and involved in X-Site decisions. You will directly report to the Head of Global Product Supply Pharma. Candidate (all genders) will be based in Europe, preferred in Darmstadt.
Who you are:
- Academic degree in Business and/or Supply Chain Management
- 7-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations (including at least 3 years in the pharmaceutical industry)
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience in CMO management in an international environment
- Strong understanding of supply and demand planning
- Experience in operating in a highly matrixed organization with a complex stakeholder environment
- Fluent in English (written and verbal communication), other language as an asset
- CPIM certification preferred
