Your Role:

The Rare Reagents department creates liquid bulks, purified antibodies, and polymerase chain reaction reagents used in the production of food borne pathogen detection kits.

 

As a Rare Reagents Product Technician, you will be responsible for creating product components that are used in the manufacture of diagnostic testing kits. You will perform routine assignments within established procedures and practices in a commercial manufacturing laboratory.

 

This role possess a high attention to detail, able to ensure the quality of your work and will require you to follow company guidelines for personal protective equipment use, good lab practices, and relevant ISO procedures.

 

Who You Are:

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological sciences.
  • 1+ years’ experience understanding of cGMP/GDP concepts
  • 1+ years’ experience with automated equipment, such as auto-labelers, auto-baggers and future production automation 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Production laboratory experience preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability create clear, concise written reports and accurately complete batch records
  • 1+ year experience with data verification preferred
