Your role:

In your role you will support globally the main Total Rewards processes (compensation review and performance management) as part of the global core team. Key tasks are the coordination and execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) among all stakeholders including IT, data tracking and follow up with data owner as well as owning the partially manual follow up actions. This includes the creation of test scripts considering all countries, entities and different scenarios based on various eligibility guidelines for employees. The UAT comprise one phase (in Nov) in quality systems focusing on standard functional testing as well as on special cases (e.g. Expats, localizations and high attention to DE special cases/entities). Also, testing in production environment is key. Therefore test activities during dry run and soft-opening (Jan and Feb) are required. You will coordinate various testers in HR business who will support you in testing activities. The consolidation of test protocols, analysis and resolution proposals are main deliverables in your role. You will be responsible to create specific reports and exercise basic data analysis. You will work very closely and collaborative together with the different MBS Service Centers as well as with the Total Rewards Program Office and other groups in Total Rewards. This role will act as the Technical Rewards expert within Merck Business Services.

 

Who you are:

  • Advanced knowledge of HR Processes and related IT systems, in particular SAP/SuccessFactors and (ideally) basic knowledge of Total Rewards or Compensation
  • Graduate degree
  • 2-3 years of Human Resources background
  • Experienced in project support and data analytics
  • Used to act in a global matrix environment
  • Strong technical, analytical & numerical skills
  • Communication skills
  • Strong service mindset and passion for processes and user experience
  • Flexibility & willingness for business trips
