We are looking for an experienced, passionate colleague who wants to make a difference working work in a truly global environment to support the Life Science Business Strategy as Associate Director Strategic HR Projects.  

 

As part of a global team, you will play a key role in various projects and initiatives, e.g. by driving business-critical strategic HR projects and initiatives running in our Life Science Sector that will help shape our future by applying innovative approaches and solutions. The projects can touch the entire HR solutions portfolio. You are a key contributor to projects that cut across entire Life Science or are elevated to the attention to the Head of HR for Life Science because of strategic relevance.

 

Key responsibilities:

Successfully drive a variety of key projects and initiatives for Life Science. This means in particular:

  • Ensure proper definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of projects and initiatives. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate as needed
  • Manage the relationship with all stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
     
    As part of the project management tasks and overarching as member of the Solution Partners team you:
  • Partner with the Global HRBPs to shape strategic people discussions on LS and LSET level for LS HR initiatives to support business growth
  • Oversee interlinkages and closely collaborate with other solution partners and Innovation HR to ensure that solutions for LS HR support the Life Science’s strategic goals and are in line with the overall HR concepts
     
    This role reports directly to the Head of LS HR Strategy
     
    Who you are:

     
    Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, Minimum 6-8 years of experience related to HR topics including conceptualization, consulting, innovation, communication and enablement, e.g. in external consulting companies. Strong analytical skills, able to use data for decision making and story lining. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage global (HR) projects. Enhanced project management skills and structured working approach and high degree of confidentiality due to nature of topics. Healthcare, life sciences or technology industry knowledge are an add-on. Experience working with Senior HR and Business stakeholders on complex people topics, using tools and technologies, with strategic impact at global and regional levels. Strong knowledge of different HR tools, e.g. SAP Success Factors, Visier would be appreciated. Excellent team player with ability to work independently as well as with global virtual teams and comfortable navigating change and ambiguity. Adaptability and flexibility to manage and follow several global initiatives / project workstreams at the same time. Clear sense of accountability, proactive in the style of working and works with the “end in mind” Strong process orientation with focus on delivery and results.
     
    Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree preferred.
