Your Role: You will be the primary contact for managing sales activities to all of our Life Science Research products and services for selected Global Strategic Pharma Accounts in Belgium. Your key focus will be on scientific selling of and prospecting for our Life Science products and services within the research departments of your customers. This coordinating function will be at the interface with internal customer support teams, including sales specialists and the Global Strategic Account team, to help your customers meet their objectives and create awareness of our portfolio to pursue new business opportunities. One of your primary goals will be to exceed sales targets, and to ensure a sustainable, profitable and plannable growth. You will provide a high level of customer-centricity by maintaining a very strong relationship with your customers (scientific end-users, team leaders, managers and many more), and having a deep understanding of their activities and needs to meet both yours and their target. You will initiate customer contacts and will establish a broad and deep scientific network with prospective. We are looking for a key account manager with strong internal and external relationship skills, strong interest in scientific selling, very good team spirit and capacity to work with international teams to address customers’ needs. This position will be home based.

 

Who you are

  • You completed a Scientific degree or PhD with experience of relevant techniques
  • You gained 2+ years sales experience, preferably into the research or pharma market
  • You ae able to work autonomously, collaboratively and as part of a team
  • You possess excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • You gained good business acumen and able to produce and interpret sales data in various formats
  • You are able to communicate and work in Dutch, French and English
