Your Role:


The Key Account Manager (KAM) position is a field based, global, strategic sales position. This role will be supporting our Toxicology Services. The KAM manages sales processes globally, for 6-8 large pharma accounts. The KAM understands the companies’ services and can easily communicate the relevant service benefits and value. This knowledge is used to consistently achieve or exceed the territory sales plan, and will help maintain existing business and develop incremental business. Focus efforts to identify and win new opportunities that are of strategic long term value while retaining existing business. Develops and maintains business relationships at all levels within assigned accounts to influence purchasing decisions.  Develops and executes Strategic Key Account Plans to achieve short and long term sales growth at each account. Identify your customer’s needs/goals/challenges, and provide solutions to fulfill their needs through the proper positioning of BioReliance services. Identify key decision makers, influencers and opinion leaders. Manages contracts/quotations within BioReliance Guidelines. KAM should be familiar with current industry specific regulatory guidelines.  Participate in sales training programs to develop appropriate selling skills. Field travel as necessary within territory


Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Genetics or related field; or the equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Requires a minimum 5 years experience as a Technical Sales Representative or equivalent related sales experience.
  • Knowledge of Toxicology.
  • Must have a proven track record in Key Account Management, including strategic planning and relationship management


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of accounts preferred.
  • Knowledge of Genetic Toxicology.
