Your Role:

The Regional Account Manager (RAM) position is a field based sales position. The RAM manages sales processes in an assigned territory (EU/UK). The RAM understands the companies’ services and can communicate the relevant service benefits and value. This knowledge is used to consistently achieve or exceed the territory sales plan, and will help maintain existing business, develop incremental business in existing accounts and develop new accounts. Develops and maintains business relationships at all levels within assigned accounts to influence purchasing decisions. Develops and executes a Strategic Business Plan for the assigned territory, identifies key decision makers, influencers and opinion leaders. Manages contracts/quotations within BioReliance Guidelines. Attend various tradeshows, corporate or external training seminars within the assigned territory. RAM should be familiar with current industry specific regulatory guidelines. Participate in sales training programs to develop appropriate selling skills. Field travel as necessary within territory and to the US HQ.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Genetics or related field; or the equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Requires a minimum 2 years experience as a Technical Sales Representative or equivalent related sales experience.
  • Knowledge of Toxicology is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of accounts in territory preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as remainder of team in the US
